Building Futures with a Career in Construction

Steamboat Springs, Colorado

The Colorado Chapter's Building Futures Committee has put together our second annual event in Steamboat Springs.  We are creating an event for high school students to experience a hands on workshop of the construction trades.  This event is to benefit our up and coming work force and give some direction and options for a career in construction. The students will have an opportunity to meet professionals from many fields by participating with the new version of a "hands on" explanations of each booth at the event.

It's never too early to get involved this event.  We are looking for vendors to participate, group leaders, event volunteers, donates of materials or help with lunch.

Here is how you can help!

Volunteers: to lead groups of students through the workshop booths.

Volunteers: to work check in and assist with some of the legalistic i.e. lunch, handing out the required safety equipment, and water.

Participants: spots are available for a hands on booth.

Donations: Swag can bare your company name.
