Tami Holley, Fire Protection Engineer. This class will include fire alarm operating principals, design, battery and voltage drop calculations, sequence of operations, emergency communications systems, acoustically distinguishable spaces, etc. The majority of the class will be spent performing plan reviews, calculations, and other activities to develop these skills. The students will leave with an understanding of how to provide a comprehensive plan review and implement department plan review policies. Bring a calculator, architectural scale, IFC 2015 & NFPA 72 2016 edition. This class will be limited to 25 people so early registration is recommended.
