Jon P. Dickey, LLC is seeking a semi-retired, skilled building inspector to join its roofing inspection services team. We’re looking for an experienced Roofing Inspector to join our team and use their experience to inspect re-roofing and new construction in the Douglas County area.

Previous roof inspection and/or roof construction experience is a plus for this position.  A successful candidate will be expected to build a relationship with our customers and complete detailed inspections and reports, then use these reports to help our staff identify potential areas of improvement.

Responsibilities/Expectations/Skills:

• Physically inspect roofs for quality and workmanship
• Record observations
• Communicate with customers and coworkers
• Provide excellent customer service
• No equipment is needed except a hard hat; the customer provides all equipment
• Building Inspectors Certificate preferred
• Previous roofing construction, quality assurance, and/or inspection are a plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to use an IOS or Android device capable of taking and storing hundreds of pictures in the field
• Must have a good driving record
