Anticipated Hiring Range: $67,100.80 – $83,865.60

Please do not apply if you do not have a current State of Colorado Journeyman’s or Master Electrician license and a P1 Residential Plumbing Inspector Certificate from the International Code Council.

The City of Lafayette, Colorado is seeking a Combination Inspector/Plans Examiner with a current State of Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician License, a P1 Residential Plumbing Inspector Certificate from the International Code Council, and Combination Inspection experience. Experience with both residential and commercial construction is required.  This position has the potential to receive on-the-job plan review training.

This position is focused on providing combination inspection services to many different types of projects from basement finishes and remodels to solar installations and all types of commercial projects.  The city is experiencing a diverse growth in building activity from new single-family dwellings and multi-family to new commercial buildings and tenant finish projects which will provide a fantastic challenge to correctly interpret the requirements of the adopted building codes.
