Combination Building Inspector

POSITION DUTIES: The Combination Inspector performs technical combination inspections in five of the following disciplines: building construction, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fuel gas.  Inspections are performed to verify compliance to all applicable ICC codes and building department approved plans.  Additionally, the Combination Inspector will perform inspections to verify compliance to adopted energy and sustainable codes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED and a valid Colorado driver’s license at time of appointment and throughout employment.  Additionally, an ICC certification as a Building Inspector and a minimum of a Journeyman’s Electrical License from the Colorado State’s Electrical Board are required for applicants.  Plumbing and Mechanical ICC certifications are highly desirable.
