Through a combination of lectures\, interactive discussions\, and hands-on activities\, attendees will enhance their understanding of the regulatory environment surrounding fuel gas systems and improve their inspection skills. \nArtificial Intelligence and its Impact on the Building Industry – 2 Hours \nThe promise of this new generation of Artificial Intelligence software is that it has all the answers. The reality is that there is great opportunity in Large Language Model (LLM) applications\, but it comes with unique challenges\, especially if it is trying to be a resource for building and safety codes. This session will cover those challenges both from the perspective of a user trying to evaluate and utilize AI tools for building codes\, and from the view of those on the software side trying to build and train those tools. The session will help members understand where AI meaningfully fits into plan review\, permitting\, and inspection workflows using real examples of how jurisdictions are adopting these tools today \nPreview of 2027 I-Codes  2 Hours \nThe 2027 I-Codes are expected to be released in fall 2026. In anticipation of the release\, ICC’s team will give highlights of significant changes in the 2027 International Residential Code (IRC)\, International Building Code (IBC)\, International Plumbing Code (IPC)\, International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) and International Fire Code (IFC) as well as the International Existing Building Code (IEBC) and International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC). \nClick Here to Register
