Northwest Colorado Building Futures with a Career in Construction
We need volunteers!!
The Colorado Chapter's Building Futures Committee has put together a hands on workshop for high school students to experience the construction trades. This event is to benefit our up and coming work force and give some direction and options for a career in construction. The students will have an opportunity to meet professionals from many fields by participating with the hands on explanations of each booth at the event.
We have had such an overwhelming response from schools in the area that we had to have a firm cut off number. With such a strong response from the high schools we are in great need for volunteers!
Here is how you can help!
Volunteers: to lead groups of students through the workshop booths.
Volunteers: to work check in and assist with some of the legalistic i.e. lunch, handing out the required safety equipment, and water.
Participants: a couple of spots are available for a hands on booth.
Donations: hard hats, safety glasses, water bottles.- Swag can bare your company name.
